Ben Gatien As a self-taught artist, Ben has sought out mentors in other artists. Through their guidance, Ben has developed a style all on his own; one that is vibrant and full of life. He loves to paint musicians, because he finds that music, especially jazz, embodies the energy, vitality and movement that he strives to capture on canvas. Ben's medium of choice is acrylic painting. His award-winning works are in private and corporate collections across North America and Europe. Ben has also received extensive media coverage for his works, which can often be seen on exhibit at galleries in Ontario and Quebec.
